Getting to Mana Island


Mana Island is located 30 kilometers west of Nadi.

All Ratu Kini guest must use our own boat transfer, Ratu Kini Cruiser, for their general welfare and safety. The boat leaves from Fantasy jetty (NOT Port Denarau) on Fantasy Island at 9:30am each day. This boat will drop you right at the resort beach. The return boat leaves Mana at 12pm each day. The boat trip either way normally takes 45 minutes to an hour. The rate is $160 return per person. If you miss this boat , you can go to Port Denarau and catch the South Seas Cruise ferry. If you are on a package that includes transfers, we will refund you $45 per per son, one way, if you travel later with South Sea Cruises.

If you miss the Ratu Kini boat, you can go to Port Denarau and catch the South Seas Cruise ferry. It leaves the port at 9am, 12 noon, and 3pm and the trip takes an hour and half, after stopping at several resorts before arriving at Mana Island. One way is $120 per person and subject to change. At the Mana jetty, Ratu Kinis is only a few minutes’ walk, to the right, along the beach. Let us know your arrival time there, and we can meet you and assist with your luggage.

The Ratu Kini boat also services the nearby resorts along the way, like Mana Island Resort, Beachcomber, Bounty Is Resort, Treasure Island Resort, Funky Fish Resort, and Tropica. Charters can also be arranged at odd hours, on booking only.

For guests arriving late in the afternoon and wish to travel  to Mana after 3pm, please let us know so we can arrange a late transfer. For guest arriving after 5pm, please arrange a nearby overnight accommodation e.g. Smugglers Cover Resort or Nadi Bay, Bamboo, Travellers Beach Resort etc. Contact Us if you want us to book for you.

Yasawa link
To travel up to the Yasawa Islands, we can connect you to Yasawa Flyer' at Beachcomber Island. We leave Mana at 8am, so check out early. The connecting boat trip from Mana takes 40 minute. If you wish to come to Ratu Kini's from Yasawa, our pick up boat will meet the Yasawa Flyer, also at Beachcomber, late in the afternoon.  Contact Us to make a reservation, and the rate is $90 per person or $110 if you're the only one traveling.

Bula Pass from Mana to the Yasawas means you will have to spend a night at Beachcomber Island and go the next day, because the pick up from Mana  is at 1030am, missing the 9am daily 'Yasawa Flyer'.
